AWARDS 2018

After months of anticipation and an exciting build up to the Business Leader Awards 2018, hosted by Business Leader Magazine and The Ascot Group. The team at Corporate Peaks and our guest from Capex Currency Ltd were delighted to attend as proud sponsors of the Champagne reception.

Hosted at Ashton Gate football stadium, the event kicked off and there was a buzz of excitement for all the attendees who were dressed in the finest attire. A sea of tuxes and dresses and hopeful award winners mingled with fellow sponsors and business minds and allowed for an excellent networking opportunity.

The team at Corporate Peaks and our guest from Capex Currency Ltd were delighted to attend as proud sponsors of the Champagne reception.

After the champagne reception all attendees were invited to their tables for an enjoyable and well-presented dinner and great conversation. It was an opportunity to relax and talk informally about the services we provide at Corporate Peaks and how we had come to sponsoring such a unique business event. The dinner service ran smoothly, efficiently and the event soon began to kick start with an opening speech, followed by the awards host; None other than the hilarious comedian Russell Kane. Who had the room in a mass of laughter with his hilarious anecdotes and spin on the event unfolding in front of him, his hosting in our opinion was the perfect addition to the event thus far.

THE AWARDS

With categories celebrating varying awards from Green awards, to businesses that have made most positive impact to society, to start ups and individual and entrepreneur awards. This ceremony was varied and inclusive of all categories of businesses. Not just relative to larger enterprises, it was encouraging to see so many variants of the business world in the event hall on this evening and a pleasure to have chatted amongst them also.

Our overall view of the evening was that of efficacy and enjoyment across the board, from our perspective the night ran smoothly with post ceremony charity drinks and a networking opportunity once more. It was certainly one of our proudest moments having supported and sponsored this prestige Bristol & South-West event and we look forward to working with Business Leader Magazine in the future and bringing more of their staff to the slopes with Corporate Peaks this winter!
